Our Newborn, Hushabye and Little One’s programs specialise in newborns to 5 years old. Our programs are for you if you’re ready for a gentle, clear, easy-to-follow plan that will allow your child to sleep well each night, and take restful naps during the day (age dependent).
Let us tell you exactly what a full package includes:
1. A preliminary evaluation
This is a comprehensive questionnaire about your child’s sleep habits and routines that you’ll fill out prior to us meeting. Having this information in advance helps us make the most of our time together. Similarly, it is this information that will help shape the sleep plan and sleep support for your child.
2. A detailed, step by step sleep plan
Your family’s sleep plan is prepared based on our preliminary evaluation via questionnaire. Within your sleep plan, we incorporate gentle, simple, and effective methods to making sleep changes. In addition, you will receive supporting resources alongside your sleep plan to help you have the best sleep journey possible.
3. A private consultation
During our consult* we will:
- Discuss your sleep plan in detail
- Talk through the strategies involved
- Troubleshoot possible issues
- Talk about general settling techniques
- Address sleep environment, sleepwear, bedtime, nap-times, night wakings; and any other specific issues you might be dealing with.
*Our consult will take place via video or in the comfort of your own home.
Should you want hands-on guidance, in-home bedtime support is available on Night 1 of your child’s sleep plan for clients within our travel zone.
4. Extensive support
At AH Sleep Specialists we pride ourselves on providing a high level of support to ensure you get through your plan successfully, guiding you through the process every step of the way. Not only do we provide an educational journey; we are understanding, kind and compassionate. We love helping you through the process to great sleep!
14-21 Day Online sleep log (in real time)
We will be sharing a sleep log where we keep track of all timings and responses. This log is reviewed and discussed with you daily. It is a great resource that allows us to communicate each day, and for us to see any patterns that may be emerging. We can easily identify what is working well or if there are any areas we need to work on.
Support phone calls
During the first two weeks of your sleep plan, we will have four phone calls. These calls typically last about 15 minutes. We’ll use this time to celebrate successes, deal with any setbacks you might be having, or answer any general questions you may have as you are going through your plan.
Three weeks of unlimited e-mail support
You may find the four phone calls and the daily sleep log communication are enough contact during those first two weeks, however, email support is also available, and will be for an additional week. You can send through any questions that come up. Response is generally within 1 business day.
