Are you and your little one waking up exhausted every day?
Let’s change that.
Our programs at AH Sleep Specialists incorporate long term solutions to resolving poor sleep. Each sleep package includes a gentle, easy to follow plan. Alongside your plan you will receive extensive support to ensure sleep goals are reached.
We focus on helping children who are dependent on props (i.e. feeding, rocking, dummy, Mum or Dad etc.) to fall asleep independently and sleep peacefully. We work with the ideal sleeping schedule for your child, and deal with any sleep issues once and for all.
Going forward, you will have a great sleeper on your hands!
Our newborn, infant and child consultants have been trained and mentored by Dana Obleman, the Founder of The Sleep Sense™ Program, and we share her philosophy in that all sleep work should be tailored to the family’s needs.
Our approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:
1. We give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important for your child’s well-being. This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child’s sleep habits
2. We will lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan. All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. We incorporate your knowledge with the our unique strategies to customise sleep support that is right for your child. Our sleep plans are unique, and best of all, THEY WORK!
3. We’ll tell you what you should expect along the way. We will show you how to measure success. No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night (although it does happen!)
4. Support Support Support! The support we provide is exceptional. You won’t find better support elsewhere. It is a key reason as to why our programs are so successful. Online programs can be great, however, sometimes you need someone in your corner to help you achieve your goals (kind of like a Personal Trainer!).
A little note about the “crying” question.
Since people often ask us about whether the program involves “crying it out,” we think it’s something that deserves to be addressed.
NO! Our program does not involve a ‘cry it out’ strategy.
Having said that, crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and communicating when very young. You can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some level of protest.
That’s why we are always sure to tell parents that the program will likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part. You, will, however, be with your child as they move through the path of change, and the good news is that the upset will disappear once your child’s sleep skills strengthen and feel completely well-rested each day and night.
So what is so important about sleep anyway?
Sleep plays a vital role in health and well-being. Even more so in children as they develop. Giving your children the rest they need is the biggest gift you can give them.
It is equally as important as providing them with a healthy diet or a loving home. It is no secret that a well rested child is a happier and healthier child.
Let’s not forget you!
Sleep deprivation can fracture so many aspects of life. Having small children is hard enough. You don’t want to add sleep deprivation to the mix, and you don’t have to.
Being well rested can feel like a luxury when you have young children. Let’s make it a reality.
Let’s get both you and your child the rest you need.
Hear from parents, just like you.
Reaching out is the first step to getting your child and your family sleeping well. No situation is too hard to change.
